    We are developing an app to help visually impaired/blind people to have a better understanding of their surroundings.

    Our technology relies on advanced computer vision and deep learning algorithms to provide scene understanding, enhance object detection, and have seamless integration with common smart devices.

    In detail, we:

    1) Develop a smartphone application that uses a device’s camera and sensors to analyze the user’s surroundings.

    2) Utilize deep learning algorithms to accurately identify objects, obstacles, and spatial information in real-time.

    3) Offer multiple feedback modes (sound, vibration, cardinal directions, etc.) to cater to users with varying levels of disability or preferences.

    4) Creating a Voice User Interface (VUI), a more user-friendly and accessible method that allows blind users to interact with the app through voice.

    In addition to that, we aim to:

    • Continuously refine our technology based on user feedback and advancements in computer vision research.
    • Partner with healthcare providers, rehabilitation centers, and organizations supporting the visually impaired to broaden the reach of our solution.
    • Seek collaborations with smart home and IoT device manufacturers to create synergies and extend the usability of V-Assistant in daily life.
    • Explore integration with wearable devices to further enhance the user experience and accessibility of our solution.

    Our goal is to empower visually impaired individuals by providing them with an intuitive, effective, and user-friendly tool that enables them to overcome social barriers and achieve greater independence in their daily lives.
